The Maternity Survey 1946
Responding Population
The NSHD sample comprises 5,362 people from the original 1946 Maternity Survey.
Questionnaires
Two versions of the questionnaire were asked:
- version A 'The Maternity Services study' and
- version B 'The Costs study'.
There were questions common to both surveys.
