Data collection
A postal questionnaire was sent to administrators at technical and further education establishments attended by cohort members to ask about course attended.
In this and other appropriate years a postal questionnaire was sent to university students in their final year to ask about courses attended, health and employment.
A postal questionnaire on marriage and fertility, health and employment was sent to all cohort members.
Training for data collection
Instructions are given at the head of each form.
