The postal questionnaire was sent to all cohort members to ask about family, health, employment, smoking, and sports participation and fitness.
Two physicians used a dietary and health questionnaire at home visits to 172 of 238 cohort members invited to take part in a study of the effect of breast feeding, and who had been selected on that basis.
